Trolleybuses began operating in Bradford on 20 June 1911 – the same day as in Leeds – but the public were not admitted until four days later.
According to Wikipedia, "The [Leeds] system was not hugely successful. There was controversy between Leeds Corporation and the various councils over several issues relating to its operation. As time passed, internal combustion engined buses became more competitive. They soon replaced the trolleybuses, which closed on 26 July 1928.
Elsewhere, Wikipedia reports that [at one time] "there were 50 trolleybus systems in the UK, London's being the largest."
